Youth Jazz Orchestra
Now into its 20th year, the Taichung Jazz Festival continues to promote jazz band training for young musicians. Through a range of diverse classes, the program enhances students’ playing abilities and understanding of jazz, offering numerous performance opportunities for them to showcase their skills. In addition to training, four public performances have been arranged to help students gain valuable stage experience. Teens aged 12-18 are invited to audition and participate in this unique opportunity to become the next generation of jazz stars.
The seven-day training program will feature renowned local jazz musicians as instructors, starting with basic techniques and advancing to jazz theory and improvisational skills.By combining theory with practice, students will strengthen both their individual playing and ensemble skills, fostering growth through collaboration and exchange among peers in the jazz field.

ACC Shared Space – Taichung Minzu Classroom is located around the Taichung Train Station area, close to dining and shopping districts, as well as a FamilyMart convenience store, making lunch and post-class gatherings incredibly convenient. The space is equipped with multiple classrooms offering a variety of courses. Whether for large ensemble practices or sectionals, students can enjoy a well-equipped environment to practice, fully express themselves, and boost their performance confidence!
