CHUN-HE, LIAO, Drums

CHUN-HE, LIAO graduated from the Jazz Department of the Music Department at Fu Jen Catholic University. He began learning piano and violin at a young age and majored in percussion during his high school years in the music program. Throughout his high school years, he frequently represented his school in the National student competition of Music, both as an individual and in group categories, achieving numerous accolades. After entering university, he began focusing on jazz music and continued to refine his drum techniques. In 2021, he was selected as a jazz newcomer at the Taipei Jazz Festival, in 2022 he won the Best Musician Award at the NCCU Goldenmelody Awards, and also took second place in the 2022 Taoyuan Iron Rose Music Festival competition. He performs regularly at the Blue Note jazz venue in Taipei and is often seen hosting jam sessions at Sappho or performing at other jazz venues such as Dixielan and Yuppy Bookstore.
