Daniel Chen Trio

Formed in 2019, Daniel Chen Trio has become a familiar presence on Taipei's jazz scene, performing regularly at leading venues such as Taipei Blues, Rev-Now, and Pure Wine. Blending jazz standards with contemporary repertoire, the trio has earned recognition for its energetic performances, thoughtful arrangements, and refined musical chemistry. In 2024, the group was selected as one of the Emerging Artists at the Taipei Jazz Festival.

Alongside live performances, the trio is dedicated to original composition. Following the release of its debut EP, Lover's Ring (2020), supported by The Ministry of Culture Taiwan, the group unveiled its first full-length album, The Sea, The Sky, The You and I, in 2024. The album received nominations for Best Jazz Album and Best Jazz Single at the 16th Golden Indie Music Awards, further establishing the trio as one of Taiwan's rising voices in contemporary jazz.
