Hailing from Gdańsk, Poland, Nene Heroine creates a distinctive sound at the intersection of jazz, psychedelic rock, dub, and post-rock. Blending analogue textures, improvisation, and emotionally direct melodies, the band builds immersive music that moves between atmospheric restraint and explosive intensity.

Their debut album, Total Panorama, was released by Alpaka Records in 2019. Across seven contrasting compositions, the album unfolds as a musical journey filled with unexpected turns, shifting textures, and open-ended exploration. Its follow-up, MOVA (2022), extends the band’s fascination with the idea of travel, bringing their evolving musical language into a more contemporary sonic landscape.

Known for their energetic and unpredictable live performances, Nene Heroine remains firmly focused on the here and now. Each concert is shaped by spontaneous interaction, close listening, and the atmosphere of the moment, making every performance a singular experience. With a sound of remarkable weight and presence, the band represents an adventurous new voice in contemporary European jazz.
