BAD TRIP SUMMER

BAD TRIP SUMMER is a new performance project launched in Japan in 2026. Originally founded by internationally active keyboardist Sara Wakui and renowned Japanese drummer Masa Matsushita, the project entered a new chapter in July 2026 with the addition of keyboardist and pianist Rina Kohmoto, who made her FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL debut as a member of the piano duo EYRIE.

The group is completed by two outstanding dancers: BOXER, an internationally recognized performer with more than 1.5 million social media followers and praise from artists including Rihanna and Erykah Badu, and Hagri Kaneko, a leading figure in both pop and contemporary dance who has appeared in the music video for the Demon Slayer theme song and modeled for COACH.

Centered around the dynamic interplay of piano and drums, BAD TRIP SUMMER seamlessly blends jazz, hip hop, house, and contemporary dance into an immersive live performance where music and movement continuously inspire one another.
