The 2025 Taichung Jazz Festival will host a night of historic significance — the iconic vocal jazz group New York Voices will perform in Taichung for the first time, kicking off their final world tour before their hiatus. With their flawless harmonies and deep emotional connection, they will offer Taiwanese music fans a rare and unforgettable classic performance.

Since forming in 1987, New York Voices has swept the music scene with their exquisite arrangements, perfect synergy, and diverse musical styles, earning multiple Grammy Awards. Rooted in jazz, they blend elements of Brazilian music, R&B, pop, and classical, creating a rich and breathtaking vocal landscape.

For this special performance, they will collaborate with the Taipei Jazz Orchestra TJO Trio Rhythm Section to reinterpret cross-genre classics such as Blue Rondo a la Turk and Corcovado, weaving a memorable musical feast of voices and rhythm in Taichung. This is not just a performance, but a farewell to a legendary era.
