American trombonist Nick Javier has been actively involved in the local jazz scene since settling in Taiwan in 2008. In 2016, he founded the Nick Javier Group (NJG), blending jazz, R&B, funk, hip-hop, and soul to develop a unique Taiwanese-American jazz language that balances improvisation with groove. He currently teaches in the Department of Music at National Chiayi University and is an official trombone artist for CarolBrass.

This time, he is specially joined by Argentine musician Musa Ming Martin. Musa is known for fusing jazz, South American folk, and electronic music with a free and distinctive style. He has collaborated with multiple Grammy-nominated artists and became the first Western musician to win the Golden Melody Award for Best Jazz Album with Lonely God.

Together, seven musicians from various countries will showcase the boundlessness of sound, engaging in a dialogue of rhythm, melody, and beat to present an improvised night that blends culture, language, and emotion.
